The intro threatened a much heavier succession of the songs with an almost metal, driving approach, while the melodies of the following tracks are less aggressive and much more pleasant listening. ‘On A Train’ has tinges of earlier Bowie as the clarity of the record is near perfect. Fusing together pop, rock, indie and little bits of trash Pornovurt appeal to a large scale of people. With huge potential with this self titled debut ‘Pornovurt’ have the world at their feet. This album should not be dis guarded and definitely by your CD player at all times. Even though it does not have an entirely new sound it has a vibrance that sets it apart.
