Bowling For Soup were back in the Astoria once more to give London a taste of their new album ‘A Hangover You Don’t Deserve’. As normal the Soup delivered their brilliant sense of humour including Chris farting into his guitar which echoed around the packed Astoria. Having matured musical BFS definitely have not matured onstage as they joked about, boobies, cheese burgers, takos and themselves. As the crowd jumped so did BFS as they rushed through a set that started at the early time of ten past eight due the ‘healthy young men coming in later on’ as quoted by Jaret, who recalled their last visit to the Astoria. Putting that inside Bowling For Soup delivered one of their best ever sets to the sweaty audience who were all ready fired up from the supports. Once again Bowling For Soup proved that they were one of the best punk rock bands around who combine humour with great sing along songs, which everyone knows and loves.

The Nashville, Tennessee foursome who dressed in their tuxedos got everyone jumping and admiring ‘their beautiful hair’. Claiming this to be the best show they have played so far on the tour, so as the crowd gave their all so did Feable Wiener as they combined pop, punk and rock to deliver a sound very much their own, encouraging circle pits on the slowest parts of their songs and throwing their bow ties into the crowd. The screaming fans jumped to the ceiling as Feable Weiner played through a varied sound as the band sang their hearts out. This was Feable Weiner’s first visit to the UK and they were definitely made welcome by the London Astoria.

The Feds
The hard working rockers from Denton, Texas opened tonight shows to a packed audience being brought onto the bill by good friends Bowling For Soup. The Feds rocked as hard as they could to show the Astoria just how damn good they were and everyone in the Astoria agreed with them after their performance that saw their lead singer jumping into the crowd as the band utilised every single inch of the stage. The Feds have staked their claim and will sure to be invited back by the Astoria crowd again and again.

Mean Fiddler acquired the London Astoria in May 2000, securing the future of live music at one of London’s most famous rock ‘n’ roll venues. Hosting many of the great mainstream bands, The Astoria is a traditional home of Rock music.
