Alice started the set thanking the bands that had played throughout the night, before letting loose with her unique voice set in an electric sound. With confidence and theatrical performance, MAB added their blend of operatic rock to the night’s proceedings. MAB were the third and final band from Something To Listen To records tonight. Alice took control of the stage as normal with her huge and powerful voice that rang around the Infinity Club with Marina and Lisa completing the line-up. MAB gave their all and enthralled everyone in the audience.

Esoterica

Tobias - Vocals
Matthew - Guitar
lara - Guitar
Charlie - bass
Luke - drums

Esoterica
Esoterica
Initially when the band played it was difficult to discern the artist voice from the wall of sound, but after a couple of tracks the levels were sorted and the rousing sound that is Esoterica resonated throughout the crowd. An energetic performer, Tobias at one point was singing from on-top of a speaker stack, the next – joining the crowd, this is one performer that likes to work off the crowd and interact with them. Each song throughout the set seemed to build further toward an impressive conclusion.

Living With Eating Disorders

  • Andrea Kerr - Vocals
  • Mark Bishop - Guitar
  • Jared Hawkes - Keyboards
  • Jamie Morison - Drums

LWED treated the crowd to a mesmerising performance, all eyes faced forward, transfixed to this mistress of performance. Building up from soft lullabies to disturbing and tearing courses, Andreas actions on stage and effort she placed into the sinning embodied and built on the sound, to create that haunting experience that is LWED. Another noteworthy aspect of their performance is the overall alternative borderline industrial edge that is interleaved throughout the overall sound and the talented drumming that at perfect timing pounds the vocal and guitar work through to amplify the rousing courses.

A dark yet masterful band delving into the industrial delights like no other.

Living With Eating Disorders

Living With Eating Disorders
Living With Eating Disorders is not for the squeamish, but an experience that leaves a lasting impression in a world where so many bands are generically similar and putting in a performance (acting) is almost a forgotten art. Expelling demons is a trait few of us are willing to face up to yet alone excise on stage.
