| Ashtar | Not officially listed on the bill Ashtar proved a powerful way to fully wake up the Bulldog Bashers. Fernanda powerful voice is similar to that of Tarja Turunen formerly of Nightwish. All the way from Brazil Ashtar proved a perfect opening band as their mix of progressive metal and Celtic folk. Oswaldo on violin added a lot of vibrance to their overall set. Their lively stage act was testament to their ability and stage show. Coupled with this performance and also their perfomance at Bloodstock Open Air festival Ashtar are building a firm fan base here in the UK.

| Sweet Black Angels | Getting the bash into full sing for the second year running Sweet Black Angels brought up their lively rock from Devon. With a large majority of the crowd still yet to arrive at the Bash and looking round Sweet Black Angels played to a small number yet got those who were there rocking and in the party mood. Their melodic rock was a brilliant sound to get the early comers into the swing of the live music yet to come. With their album 'Beneath Shadows' in full swing and plans for a DVD the future looks very bright for Sweet Black Angels.

| Chas And Dave | The legends Chas And Dave took to the stage with only one man pressed against the barrier but it only took five seconds for all of those seated to stand up and move forward. With their vast catalogue of music every song was known by the crowd.
Chas And Dave might not be a band you would associate with hard rocking bikers but they lapped it up as Chas And Dave rocked their way through their set without a second thought as they effortlessly won over even the younger members of the audience. Chas And Dave may not have been headlining tonight but they response they got they may as well had been.
Hellrazor
 |
| Hellrazor | Featuring members of Hells Bells Hellrazor blasted out a sort of old school rock greatest hits set including tracks by Van Halen and Motorhead. Providing the perfect festival atmosphere with sing a longs galore Hellrazor were a perfect addition to the line up. With their cross over of songs their was at least one song everyone knew and could jump around to.
Getting everyone in full spirit as the beer was flowing Hellrazor took it to the growing ground as the sun went down for the first night of full on partying.

| Hells Bells | The ultimate AC/DC tribute band truly know how to rock with their near perfect sound and looks to that of the original band. As the beer had been flowing all day and the crowd were in full attendance Hells Bells got the support and turn out they deserved.
Of course classics like Back In Black were the real crowd pleasers with mass sing a longs with many now pressed up against the barrier to feel the full force of Face running round the stage kitted out in the full Angus Young look.
Hells Bells were a fitting end to the first night of Bulldog Bash with everyone in full spirit and voice to cap off Bulldog Bash twenty.
